The gradual rollout of details about Madison Group and Westdale Properties‘ The Capitol Residences has been teasing potential purchasers for months. Renderings of the 14-storey, Turner Fleischer Architects and Hariri Pontarini Architects-designed development at Yonge and Castlefield have been released at a rate of one a month lately, slowly revealing more of the building, having started with the restored heritage exterior walls of the 1918-built Capitol Theatre, its marquee, and canopy over the Yonge Street sidewalk.
Most recently, we got a taste of the building’s Studio Munge-appointed spaces through a sneak peek inside the building’s porte-cochère, and now we’re getting our first look at Munge’s design for one of the project’s amenity spaces: the celebrity lifestyle theme of the development was already evident in the porte-cochère rendering, now developed in more detail in the newly released image of a parlour and multipurpose golf simulator room.
